Tagoross unique design

Tagoross CoP's progressive architecture ensures a confident, seamless transition from reactive technical management to proactive open-source-as-strategy leadership.

The environment is organized into three distinct layers, designed to systematically raise your strategic capabilities, while respecting your busy schedule:

  1. The Collaboration Layer: An invitation-only, free-of-charge space designed for high-signal peer networking, benchmarking, intelligence briefs, and confidential exchange among trusted open-source experts, senior managers, and leaders.
  2. The Signal Layer: Accessible via a paid annual subscription, granting you direct access to our exclusive library of curated, executive-ready artifacts, and the peer-validated practices behind them.
  3. The Focus Layer: Personalized, session-based coaching designed to help you solve your organization’s most complex open-source strategy and governance challenges, without the overhead of traditional consulting agreements.

By building a dedicated and protected environment structured into these targeted layers, Tagoross eliminates the noise leading to cognitive exhaustion of most open and public forums. Within this private-by-default space, busy professionals can engage exactly when and how they need to.

The founder

Tagoross CoP is founded by Agustín Benito Bethencourt (toscalix), an independent consultant helping organizations bring open source into their strategy and maximise its ROI. His career spans more than 25 years at the intersection of open source and business — leading teams and holding executive, managerial, and consulting roles across automotive, embedded, industrial, and enterprise environments since 2003.

A long-time contributor to the commons, a regular speaker at industry events, and the author of the toscalix blog, AgustĂn founded Tagoross to build what his own career taught him was missing: a vendor-independent space for the transition from reactive technical management to proactive open source-as-strategy leadership.
